The Minnesota HIV Planning Council's primary responsibility is to establish priorities for the allocation of Ryan White CARE Act funds in Minnesota. Although Council members do not select which agencies receive funding, they are instrumental in determining the amount of funding that will be put into general service areas such as primary health care and case management.
