The Hennepin County Public Health Clinic is a multi-lingual, multi-cultural clinic that provides screening and treatment for STDs, HIV testing, TB control services, refugee health screening, immigration exams, family planning and Ryan White HIV services for qualified individuals who are HIV+ and not currently in care.  

The Public Health Clinic is also a site location for Health Care for the Homeless

Appointments

Appointments are available for all services by calling the clinic at 612-543-5555, option #4, (TTY 612-348-4729).

  • STD and HIV screening—walk-in services available
  • TB control program—accepts clients by physician or health department referral. The clinic does not provide routine TB screening for work or school.

Updates/events

  • The Public Health Clinic will be closed on May 27th in observance of the holiday.

 

Outreach and education 

In addition to clinical services, the clinic provides specialized outreach programs including HIM (Health Interventions for Men), CAPS (Care Access and Prevention Services).

Payment 

The clinic accepts most forms of insurance; we also accept self pay and will apply a sliding fee scale for services. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.
