January 27 Environmental Response Fund Grants The County Board approved $1.4 million in Environmental Response Fund (ERF) grants for 10 projects.

The Board approved $1.4 million in funding for public improvements to the Village Creek Redevelopment Project in Brooklyn Park.

The county administrator has been directed to appoint a study group to review the service centers to help the board assess their long-term viability.

January 13 Roosevelt Library Closing for Renovation Feb. 11
Hennepin County Library – Roosevelt, 4026 28th Ave. S., Minneapolis, will close for renovation at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Reopening is planned for summer 2013.
